Internship - Maritime Security Developer

Your role

 

You join the Safety, Security & Environment Department, whose mission is to protect CMA CGM people, materials, and equipment. You contribute to the creation of an innovative tool for ship planners, integrating automatic and manual responses optimized by a non-generative AI designed to validate the arrangement of containers on a ship according to company rules.

 

 

What are you going to do ?

 

  • Develop an application to digitize a safety control activity related to the transport of dangerous goods.
  • Integrate an AI to improve the application’s responses based on expert knowledge.
  • Plan the interaction of this new tool with existing and future tools.
  • Manage the project in collaboration with the business owners, IT services and service providers.
  • Participate in the daily activities of the department and team life.


 

Who are we looking for ?

 

  • You are at the end of your engineering school program.
  • You have skills in object-oriented programming of web applications (Java, React), communication (inter-application exchange protocols), human-machine interface ergonomics and AI algorithms. You know how to manage a project and produce the associated reports.
  • You are comfortable in English, both written and spoken.
  • You are interested in the maritime world and security, autonomous, and enjoy working in a team. You are proactive and capable of taking initiatives.
