Internship - Project Portfolio Assistant

YOUR MISSIONS

 

You will join the Project Coordination Office within the CIO Office and, in collaboration with your mentor, support the project portfolio management lead. 

 

This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of project portfolio management while contributing to the optimization, digitalization, and automation of existing processes, thus adding real value to the organization. 

 

 

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? 

 

  • Actively participate in the management and tracking of the ongoing project portfolio within the organization. 

  • Organize and lead periodic portfolio review meetings with IT teams. 

  • Collect, organize, and maintain up-to-date and high-quality data on projects and validation processes. 

  • Work with the PCO team to generate regular reports on project status and portfolio performance for the management. 

  • Assist in preparing the necessary documentation for validation reviews and committee meetings, and track the progress of actions. 

  • Support IT teams by providing project support, coaching, and methodological guidance for adherence to validation processes. 

  • Contribute to initiatives that foster a project culture within the organization (communication, training, creating various supports, etc.). 

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

 

  • You are a student in a Master’s program (Level 2) at an engineering school or MIAGE, specializing in project management, preferably in an international context. 

  • Organized, you have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to synthesize information. 

  • You have knowledge of project and portfolio management. 

  • You are proactive, adaptable, and have a strong ability to work in teams and facilitate meetings. 

  • You are comfortable with IT tools and information systems, and you are proficient in Office Suite, MS Teams, and SharePoint. 

  • You are fluent in both French and English, both spoken and written, to work with an international team. 

  • You demonstrate strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, a sense of responsibility, flexibility, organization, rigor, and efficiency.
