International Lawyer Corporate Law (M/F) Temporary Contract

You will be involved in all areas of corporate law and will be mainly responsible for the monitoring and management of a portfolio of French and foreign companies whose main activity is related to port terminals. In this context, you will be required to ensure compliance with the rules of governance in the subsidiaries which are under your responsibility on a daily basis and to work directly with the operational staff and partners in the joint ventures throughout the world. 





Reporting to the Corporate, Litigation and International Legal Department, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Directly manage the corporate life of the French companies for which you are responsible in the context of ordinary operations (such as approval of accounts or change of directors) and extraordinary operations (such as capital increases, securities issues, etc.) 
  • Ensure the follow-up of French and foreign companies in close collaboration with local lawyers and/or corporate secretaries 
  • Participate in the Group's reorganization operations: mergers, transfers, etc., with a permanent objective of simplifying legal structures and optimizing the legal organization chart 
  • Support the M&A legal team in external growth operations
  • Provide support and technical expertise to the operational teams
  • Ensure the reliability of the legal database of the Group's subsidiaries, raise awareness of the operational teams 
  • Implement and monitor certain intra-group contracts 
  • Provide support to the Legal Department on cross-functional issues 
  • Ensure compliance with the Group's internal rules and procedures 
  • Contribute to the improvement of the Legal Department's tools 
  • Contribute to the monitoring of regulations in terms of corporate law and governance




  • With a Master's degree in Business Law, you have 3 to 5 years' experience in a law firm or in an international group or a company of significant size in an international environment
  • You will be in contact with all of the company's departments and numerous external contacts (lawyers, formalists, auditors, etc.), and you will be able to integrate quickly into a multicultural and international environment
  • You must have a very good command of legal and business English, both written and oral, and have a very good command of office automation tools
  • You are dynamic, flexible and have a team spirit, commitment and diplomacy, simple and clear interpersonal skills and a strong work capacity
  • You have a great ability to work closely with other lawyers in France but also in various countries (Asia, Africa, Europe, etc.) as well as with the other functions of the group (finance, human resources, operations, etc.)
  • You are practical, adaptable and able to find pragmatic and effective solutions. You are familiar with working in project management mode
  • Your professionalism, involvement, rigor and your sense of business development and results in the service of internal clients will enable you to successfully carry out the missions of this position


Contract dates: beginning of January 2022 - end of April 2022
