Maritime Line Management Controller

YOUR ROLE
You will analyze, verify, and consolidate commercial, operational, and financial information to provide maximum visibility into the maritime line's activities. This will support decision-making processes within the various departments of the Group.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- You will assist the line manager on a daily basis in managing their activities (setting up, monitoring, and developing indicators specific to each line, as well as conducting studies).
- As part of your role, you will be responsible for producing the forecasted and actual results of the line and for preparing the budget.
- You will participate in the analysis of accounting/management discrepancies to identify potential operational issues and monitor standards. You will alert the manager in case of deviations affecting the line’s financial results.
- You will carry out studies and propose corrective measures to optimize the line's performance.
- You will present summarized financial information to the Management.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- You hold a Master's degree (M2) in Finance, Accounting, or Management, or a degree from a Business or Engineering School.
- You have at least some initial experience in management control, ideally within a large international group.
- You are proficient in IT and office tools, including Excel, Access, and SQL queries.
- Your analytical mindset and organizational skills, combined with your open-mindedness and strong interpersonal skills, will be key assets for succeeding in this role.
- Your English is operational.
