Middle Office Securitization

THE ROLE:

 

You will join the Middle Office department within the Finance Division at CMA CGM's head office in Marseille, in charge of monitoring debt, operations carried out on financial markets and treasury.

To meet the numerous projects and challenges of the Group's securitization programs, you will be responsible for all work in liaison with all the internal and external players and guarantee a high level of supervision of the securitization activity.

 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

In particular, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Monitoring and optimizing the head office securitization program:

             - Analysis of legal documentation
             - Mapping and monitoring financial and operational covenants
             - Reporting alerts to top management
             - Monitor debt and program life cycle (restructurings, amendment requests, drawdowns/repayments, syndication, maturities, etc.). 

  • Control of performance monitoring reports and automation of implemented controls
  • Global vision of Group programs, in coordination with subsidiary players (monthly meetings, monitoring dashboards, etc.).
  • Analysis and benchmarking of Group programs to ensure convergence of methods and types of controls carried out
  • Audit management and follow-up of corrective actions
  • Privileged contact within Finance and interface with Front Office, Credit Management, IT and MOA departments.
  • Key player in relations and coordination with external partners (banks, trustees, specialized organizations, etc.)
  • Produce ad hoc studies and reports for Front Office and management. 
  • Contribute to the team's cross-functional projects (middle office debt/markets/treasury projects, process and IS development, processing automation and tool maintenance).

 


PROFILE AND COMPETENCES:

 

  • With at least 5 years' experience in a banking middle office, you hold a Master's degree in finance or management or equivalent from a business or engineering school.
  • You have developed the ability to understand complex legal models and documentation.
  • You have a very good command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word). 
  • An interest in the development of IT tools (VBA, database implementation) would be a plus.
  • You are autonomous and rigorous, with real analytical and synthesis skills, a sense of priorities and team spirit.
  • You are fluent in French and English.
