Middle Office Treasury and Securitization

MISSION:

You will join the Middle Office department within the Finance Department of the headquarters of CMA CGM in Marseille, responsible for monitoring debt, operations executed on financial markets, and treasury management.

You will assist treasurers in controlling and analyzing operations, and will be responsible for producing decision-making and risk management reports.

Additionally, to address the numerous projects and challenges of the Group's securitization programs, you will be responsible for coordinating between various internal and external stakeholders and ensuring a high level of supervision of securitization activity.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support to the headquarters Treasury department:

Monitoring cash forecasts
Development of cash management tools: available cash, foreign exchange positions and flows by currency, cash from subsidiaries, bank charges, country/bank risks...
Control of daily cash positions of the headquarters and major subsidiaries of the Group
Analysis and monitoring of discrepancies between bank balances and accounting cash
Interface between Treasury and Group operational services on the management of daily flows (funds flow analysis, application of internal procedures...)
Monitoring and optimization of securitization programs:

Analysis of legal documentation and benchmarking of Group programs
Mapping and monitoring of financial and operational covenants
Control of performance tracking reports
Synthesis reports and escalation of alerts to top management
Management of headquarters program audits and monitoring of corrective actions
Monitoring of debt and program lifecycle (restructurings, amendment requests, drawdowns/repayments, syndication, maturities...)
Preferred contact within Finance (Front Office, Credit Management, IT, and MOA interface) and key player in the relationship and coordination with external partners (banks, trustees, specialized organizations...)
Conducting ad hoc studies and reporting to Front Office and management

Contribution to cross-functional projects (process and IT system evolution, automation of processes, and tool maintenance)

 

PROFILE AND SKILLS:

With a Master's degree (Bac +5) from a Business School or Engineering School, Master's in Finance, Management, or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of experience in treasury.

You have developed the ability to understand complex legal models and documentation.

You have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

An appetite for developing IT tools (VBA, database setup) would be a plus.

You are autonomous and rigorous, with real analytical and synthesis skills, and have a sense of priorities and teamwork.

You speak French and English fluently.
