Operations LEAN Manager

CMA Terminals Holding, the port assets holding company of the CMA CGM group, is developing new systems to improve the fluidity and performance of terminals. New tools are available that provide real-time information and can be used to modify existing operational methods. In this context, once the POCs (Proof of Concepts) are confirmed, they must be rolled out in different terminals, taking into account the size and the stakes of each. The aim is a vast process of re-engineering operations with an increased use of AI. To carry out this ambitious plan, CMAT is now looking for a LEAN Manager in its Performance / Operations department, someone curious and attracted to the container port terminal industry.
YOUR ROLE
- Contribute to the adoption and dissemination of all new information reporting tools (data comes mainly from terminal equipment) and their use in operational cycles.
- Assimilate the possibilities and contribute to defining nomenclatures, ranges, and processes at selected terminals.
- Support terminals in continuous improvement processes by providing proven solutions from other assets.
- Assist the Operations team in identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies in port assets.
- Support digitalization projects, PDS, IoT, BigData, BI, etc.

Knowledge of continuous improvement systems / Lean-like

Ability to challenge existing working methods and propose pragmatic improvement projects
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Master Black Belt in Six Sigma or equivalent qualification or significant experience.
- Initial experience in the automotive or steel industry. Experience in management and project management
- Experience in manufacturing and/or engineering environments
- True team player, connected daily with Operations, Technical, and Finance teams
- Fluent in English and French required
