ROLE :
Within the Agency’s sales team, you are responsible for a high-potential client portfolio in order to meet the Group’s commercial objectives. You are in charge of the acquisition, development, retention and management of these customers' traffic, and you sell all the products and services of the CMA CGM Group.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
In this context, you manage a portfolio of strategic and high-potential clients in a given geographical area and according to a commercial segmentation defined by the Management. You regularly organize field visits according to the objectives set by the Sales Department.
You conduct field prospecting of new customers, develop new traffics, identify the commercial opportunities of the market.
Thus, you promote and sell all the products and services of the CMA CGM Group maritime or not (e-commerce, value-added service (VAS), intermodal, logistics, air, etc.) in compliance with their pricing policy.
You fill in the Customer information in the CRM tool and ensure that it is updated.
Together with Management, you ensure the quality of customer segmentation.
In addition, you plan your commercial actions in the context of achieving your objectives defined in the budget.
You relay the customer quotation requests to the sales associates and relay to the Customer Service the requests concerning the operational monitoring.
You report the necessary field information (market, rates, competition, regulation, trends, etc.) in particular to the lines, trade managers or/and the Sales Department.
You also track client collections in your portfolio in coordination with the financial department.
Finally, you ensure compliance with the company’s Quality, Safety and Security procedures.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :
You have a postgraduate degree (+4/5 years) in International Trade or Transport/Logistics, and 2 years experience in shipping. You have good command of IT and office tools and speak English fluently.
Your interpersonal and negotiation skills will be essential to communicate efficiently with your contacts.
Your self-sufficiency, your availability, your organization skills, your rigor, responsiveness and proactivity will enable you to perform successfully in this position.
