THE ROLE: 


Within the “Energy Transition” department, a multidisciplinary project team has been set up to respond to the new regulatory constraints imposed by the IMO (International Maritime Organization) and soon Europe. The Plateau IMO 23-30 team has both a support and expertise mission to support the transition of the CMA CGM group, both at the technological and operational level. To do so, the Plateau carries out impact studies, puts in place new tools for new cross-functional processes and monitors the progress of the teams on a daily basis.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Reporting to the Platform Manager, you are involved in the entire implementation cycle of the tool, from the collection of needs to its deployment. You work in close collaboration with business experts and with the development team ((Agile/Scrum Methodology)) ensuring that the tool delivered meets business expectations.

  • Define the vision in agreement with the project stakeholders, in line with the environmental constraints and the Group's strategy
  • Communicate cross-functionally with the different teams through the tool's roadmap
  • Understand and anticipate the needs of business contacts
  • Be in charge of the backlog, its prioritization, and the list of tasks to be carried out by the team
  • Supervise the different stages of development
  • Measure and communicate the progress of the project
  • Assist in the interpretation and translation of new environmental regulations into operational constraints/impact
  • Produce presentations and follow-up documents to help understand the issues
  • Assist the Stage Manager as a method and project expert

 

 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • We are looking for an experienced profile (more than 5 years of experience in a project management position) capable of assisting the manager of the set, as well as the team made up of business and IT people.
  • A good level of assertiveness allowing:
    • Establish a relationship of trust with team members and key contributors
    • To generate listening and support from internal collaborators
  • Ability to structure problems according to their nature and propose remediation plans;
  • Effective written and oral communication (strong need for alignment and sharing);
  • Rigor in project management, impartiality, and capacity for synthesis;
  • Ability to exchange and understand all the stakeholders and the different issues, both business (transversal) and technical;
  • Advanced/Fluent English;
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment;
  • Endurance, flexibility, rigorous, spirit of analysis and synthesis;
  • Technical and functional environment:
    • Business-IT project management;
    • Development of Web applications deployed on the Cloud;
    • Multidisciplinary program management;
    • A good knowledge of the Shipping business would be a plus.
