Project Manager
CCIS (CMA CGM Inland Services) is a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, dedicated to the development of land transport solutions.
It offers complete and integrated logistics solutions with high added value, adapted to the specific needs of its customers throughout their supply chain: storage, picking, kitting, processing of packaged goods, post-manufacturing and loading and unloading.
THE ROLE
The project manager oversees for his scope the development of CCIS footprint in all activities (transport, depot, inland terminal, and multi-service platform) from the identification of the opportunity to the settlement of the entity.
A CCIS project can be defined as:
- Creation of any new site or legal entity (M&A or Newco).
- New activity / service within existing entity.
- Improvement of existing entity requesting investment above Head of CCIS threshold.
In terms of duration the project is defined from the ignition of the idea to the implantation at least 6 months after setting up the entity if new legal company or earlier if within existing entity/site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management:
- HO point of contact with CC local agencies and RO for the identification of the project, and in relationships with the CCIS projects coordinator.
- Drive the project studies, CAPEX dimensioning, Business Plans, Master Planning and Investment Plans.
- Redact and maintain all documents requested for the validation steps within the Group.
- Establish and manage key partnerships when relevant and remain the point of entry for the Group Agencies/CCIS entities.
- Develop the market studies and assessment of portfolio (third party customers, Value Added Services).
- Drive local and HO teams in the project implementation.
- Manage audits/due diligence on M&A projects, when necessary.
- Manage implementation of projects until operational delivery and hyper care phase.
- Coordinate and monitor all project’s aspects: infrastructure and engineering, operational design, handling equipment, HR, IT, financing (including authority thresholds), legal and compliance, including procurement rules / fight against corruption, QSSE.
- Field visit/s to meet project stakeholders.
- Support and facilitate any operational topics between clusters and/or entities and HO (e.g. tariffs negotiation, legal support, procurement).
- Financial review with entity GM and cluster GM when critical results or new entity.
- Support cluster GM in the budget process.
PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics - with knowledge in finance and accounting, operations, sales, marketing, HR basics.
- Experience in Maritime, forwarding and/or logistics industry, an international experience would be a plus.
- Knowledge in depot, logistic platforms and transportation (trucking, barging, rail) would be appreciated on the field (in management or operational functions) and HO levels.
- Fluent in professional English and French, and ideally main languages of the relevant area.
- Well organized, dynamic, independent, with solid project management skills.
- Skills: adaptation, relational and communication qualities, team spirit.
- Ability to work under pressure in various difficult environments.
- Mobility on the field.
