THE ROLE:

 

As part of the Finance Department, you will be involved in leading and coordinating the cost reduction plan.

  • You will participate in the production of monthly cost reduction reports
  • You will help the departments concerned to reduce/optimise OPEX across all the Group's activities (Shipping, Logistics, Air, Terminals, Media, etc.)
  • You will identify and propose new ideas for optimising the Group's OPEX
  • You will ensure that the KPIs for monitoring the costs of each activity are still relevant, or, working with the relevant departments, you will propose new ones
  • You participate in the implementation of any studies or projects required to improve the Group's performance

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Reporting to Business Controlling within the Finance Department, you will be responsible for the tasks described above. You will be responsible for summarising the various cost-cutting plans covering all the Group's activities for top Management (Shipping, Logistics, Air, Terminals, Media, etc.).
In this context, you will draw on resources from across the Group and your aim will be to provide top management with concrete proposals for improving performance.  

 


PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • You have a 5-years’ degree from a business or engineering school and 3/4 years' initial experience, ideally in an audit or consulting firm (ideally a background in finance followed by operational experience)
  • You have a good general knowledge, as well as a good level of English 
  • You have a taste for analysis and negotiation. You are used to take the initiative and to react quickly
  • You are able to work independently and you are comfortable speaking in public
  • You are recognised for your ability to write, express yourself, summarise and persuade
