THE ROLE
In an international context where we are significantly transforming the way we deliver and utilize our IT technological solutions (new strategic partners, technological disruptions, outsourcing of our infrastructures, digitalization of our business services...), we are looking for a collaborator to play a key role within our architecture department.
You will join a team with a modern vision, which does not hesitate to question itself and strives to propose innovative solutions, based on an analysis of risks and opportunities, impacting more than 110,000 employees worldwide.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO :
As a solution architect, you will be responsible for:
• Gathering and studying the needs of business teams, analysing, and mapping the existing system as a whole
• Studying and developing IT solutions that meet user needs and the company's infrastructures
• Contributing and being proactive in defining and improving standards, architecture patterns, best practices, and the service catalogue
• Implementing prototypes, evaluating SaaS, and engaging in appropriate dialogue with vendors
• Contributing to the modernization of the historical IT system and being an active participant in the cloud migration program (deployment methodologies and migration plans)
• Writing architecture documents (HLD, LLD) and technical specifications, providing a secure, resilient, scalable, deliverable, and operable solution. Designing solutions that align with business needs and IT strategy
• Documenting and presenting your solutions for validation to the architecture committee
• Ensuring the quality of delivered solutions to ensure compliance with the designed architecture
• Conducting technological watch to identify new technologies, patterns, and solutions that could add value
• Participating in the life of the architect community
• Supporting project managers in decision-making and functional teams with a functional architecture vision
• Writing and maintaining architecture patterns and principles
• Promoting and explaining the architecture roadmap
• Writing scoping documents, RFPs, RFIs, etc.
• Maintaining the architecture foundation (document capital, EAM inventory tools, etc.)
• Supporting technical and business projects throughout the project lifecycle
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR :
• You have a Bac +4/5 education (equivalent to a master’s degree) from an engineering school or university, with an IT specialization
• You have at least 5 years of experience in solution architecture and have successfully led transformation projects
• You have experience in various organizations, both public and private, in an international environment, and with very diverse technological foundations
• You have a very good understanding of all components of the information system: application layers, middleware/technology, and infrastructure/cloud, as well as security
• You are proactive, organized, and capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision and in relation with multiple teams
• You have strong knowledge of the following technologies:
o good knowledge of application technology components: Application framework, microservice architecture, API Gateway, Java technologies (Spring), .Net, Camunda, etc.
o AWS: AWS Architect certification (associate or pro) recommended. Implementation experience on multiple projects required.
o good knowledge of databases: relational and non-relational (Oracle SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Snowflake, so...)
o Strong skills in integration components (API, Event, ETL, Job): Kong, Kafka, Solace, ODI, BODS, EDIFACT, SBI
o Containerized architecture and associated CI/CD skills: Kubernetes
o Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment: Rancher, XL Deploy, XL Release, Cycloid
o Security: SOC, PKI, SAMLv2, OAuth, OIDC, JWT, encryption
o Monitoring: Dynatrace, Prometheus, ELK
o Collaborative: Exchange, O365, SharePoint
• Strong knowledge of software architecture patterns (DDD, reactive, so...), solution (EDA, MDM, so...), and enterprise (TOGAF, Archimate certification recommended)
• Used to working collaboratively with tools such as: Confluence/JIRA, LucidChart, Git
• Experience with SAFE organization, Product Mode
• You have a strong team spirit and work with a continuous improvement mindset
