ROLE:
Operations Direction is a transverse operational organization with various monitoring and advisory responsibilities on all operation challenges within CMA CGM Group.
Within this organization, Network Optimization & Studies team is entrusted with the responsibility to monitor the operational costs, provide analysis and recommendations to the Lines and lead the systems and tool strategy, being the Operations referent for all Departments within the Group.
In close collaboration with the operational network in place within our Regional Offices, it defines the room for improvement and take all necessary actions to narrow the gap.
RESPONSABILITIES:
Within Operations Direction and under the responsibility of Network Optimization & Studies Management, the responsibilities of this position include:
• Liaise with Lines, Cost Control, RO and Agencies to identify cost deviance, analyze it and propose plans to counter it.
• Edit and develop tools related to operational costs monitoring, to the attention of various actors within the Group.
• Perform studies regarding our Network, making system cost and flow analysis in collaboration with other members of the team.
• Act as a Referent for Network-related studies towards other Group Departments.
PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE:
Recomended qualifications :
• Master in Applied Economics or Master in Transport & Logistics (M2 level)
• Fluent in Business English
• Fluent with Microsoft Office pack, Visual Basic included. Power BI and / or SQL is a must.
• Friendly with statistics edition and subsequent usage
• Able to analyze and evaluate complex interactions
• Trouble-shooter and problem-solver, keen on conflict resolution
• Autonomous, proficient in public speaking, able to clearly explain ideas
• Team spirit
