MISSION:
Within the Group’s Tax Department, you will work as part of a team of eight people, both at headquarters and in the regions, handling the tax management of the CMA CGM Group’s global subsidiary network.
Under the supervision of your Manager, your role within the Tax Department will involve:

Managing tax files impacting the Group’s subsidiaries in Europe and the Levant regions. This will include:
- Assisting and advising the Group’s various subsidiaries on tax matters they encounter;
- Conducting technical research and drafting memos when necessary;
- Ensuring the proper application of France’s tax treaty network, particularly considering OECD positions;
- Handling transfer pricing issues as needed, in coordination with the dedicated team at headquarters;
- Overseeing local tax audits in coordination with local advisors;
- Conducting tax reviews of contracts entered into by subsidiaries.

Coordinating tax matters for all other global regions on the Group’s most significant files. This will involve:
- Implementing and monitoring the Group’s tax and intercompany policies;
- Communicating with local teams, understanding tax issues, and summarizing them clearly and effectively;
- Analyzing applicable local taxation and assessing the validity of proposed adjustments.

Participating in the Group’s real estate acquisition projects by:
- Negotiating the tax clauses in contracts, particularly those related to VAT;
- Coordinating with notarial offices and individuals conducting acquisition audits.

Handling tax inquiries related to the Group’s air division (Air Cargo), which may involve:
- Conducting research related to the operational activity of the air division;
- Securing the tax development of the network served by the Air Cargo Group;
- Negotiating tax clauses in contracts concluded by Air Cargo Group entities;
- Assisting operational and accounting teams in ensuring compliance with relevant tax processes.

Providing tax support for special Group projects, such as artificial intelligence and other investment projects. This includes:
- Reviewing investment fund documentation and resolving related issues;
- Reviewing and commenting on the eligibility of projects for patronage/tax-exempt status.
Your main contacts will be the members of the tax team as well as Regional or Subsidiary Administrative and Financial Directors.
PROFILE AND SKILLS:
You hold a Master’s degree with a specialization in Taxation and/or a Law degree with solid foundations in international taxation.
You have a first experience (outside of internships and apprenticeships) within a multinational company and/or a law firm specializing in corporate taxation.
You are fluent in French and English, and comfortable working with numerical data (Excel, etc.).
