Area Manager - Reefer

MISSION:

 

On a fixed term contract, you will work within the Reefer Department and will be responsible for ensuring and optimizing vessel filling on the Reefer commercial zone(s) for which you are responsible.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES :

 

  • In line with the directives of your line manager, you will apply the commercial and pricing policy for your Reefer zone and handle all quotation requests from your agents or customers.
  • You take part in drawing up the sales budget with your line manager, and are then responsible for analyzing performance and variances in relation to this budget in order to propose corrective actions.
  • As a real expert in your area, you will record and analyze the volumes loaded on the ships in conjunction with the line sales managers and agents, and you will monitor marketing: market studies, statistics.
  • As a privileged contact for agents and the main customers in your zone, you are likely to organize agency visits.

 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • You already have initial sales or marketing experience.
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English & French, and have a good command of IT and office tools (particularly Excel). You are organized, autonomous and able to make proposals.
  • Your interpersonal skills, sense of communication and team spirit will enable you to succeed in this position.
