Container Equipment and Logistics Coordinator

About the Role:

 
Reporting to the Logistics Assistant Manager, the successful candidate will: 

 

  • Ensure container availability to meet forecasted cargo demand and inform Assistant Logistics Manager of any equipment shortages
  • Monitor depot performance including turn times, equipment repairs and idle containers
  • Provide management of general administration and reporting functions undertaken by the logistics controller
  • Provide daily management of depots by monitoring available stock versus bookings
  • Ensure the Equipment Management System accurately reflects the status and location of containers
  • Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures

 

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

 

  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field
  • At least 1-year previous experience in the Logistics industry
  • Good computer skills with excellent understanding of Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a “can – do’ attitude
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
