About the Role:

 

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in executing essential HR projects within specified timelines. Your responsibilities will extend to serving as a change agent and actively supporting HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in managing and implementing people and transformation strategies throughout the organisation via various projects. Additionally, you'll oversee the implementation and review of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives across all Oceania business units.

 

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the HR team, and wider staff, offering strategic insights and solutions to organisational challenges.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative HR programs and initiatives that foster a positive work culture and drive employee engagement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, legislative changes, and best practices to continuously improve HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations into employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and relevant legislation, while maintaining confidentiality and impartiality throughout the process.
  • Monitor and analyse HR metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
  • Act as a change agent, driving initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, OD, Psychology or equivalent 
  • Minimum 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role
  • High level of inter-personal skills, proven experience dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A high level of computer literacy, in particular Microsoft Office 
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects concurrently
  • An understanding of relevant Victorian Employment legislation would be advantageous
