Security Operations Analyst

THE GLOBAL CYBERSECURITY TEAM

 

The CMA CGM Group’s incredible growth is dramatically transforming our core business, reinforcing our leading position as an innovative, bold, and customer-oriented company, enhancing more than ever the security of its global operations. 

With more than 250 team members, the Group Cybersecurity Department, covers all subsidiaries and entities of CMA CGM, with a global roadmap composed of 6 major domain streams (Maritime, Logistics, Ships, Terminals, Warehouses, and Subsidiaries). The Department currently monitors around 80 projects and provides through its 24/7 Operations continuous reliability. 

  

In two and a half years, our Cybersecurity team has operated major strategic changes and implemented top-level solutions to secure even further our business activities worldwide: Risk Management tools, IAM, Office 365 security, Networks, Endpoints and Cloud protection, Application Security Enhancement, Cyber Defense Center (SOC and CERT) construction. 

We look now to reinforce our teams with new skills to reach the next level of Cybersecurity and continue building a globally structured team based in Marseilles, Beirut, Manila, Montreal, Miami, and more…

In this context, we are looking for our “ROLE”, who will oversee …  

 

THE ROLE

 

As a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst, you are responsible for solutions owned and monitored by the Security Operations team, performing configuration, maintenance, and security risk assessment, and dealing with worldwide compliances.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Act as an expert and review constantly the configuration on Endpoint Security, PKI; Email Security; Microsoft Security Tools, WAF, IPS, Privilege Access Management

  • Work with the Lead Security specialist on maintenance and evolution of our systems

  • Capacity to identify and define system security requirements

  • Support investigation on security breaches and other cyber security incidents with the SOC

  • Participate as a security expert with the SOC on investigations and troubleshooting of problems

  • Provide 2nd level support, including evaluation, consulting, and solution implementation

  • Use a ticket system to respond to user requests and escalate if necessary

  • Perform cybersecurity monitoring and Vulnerability Management

  • Work across teams to promote company security standards

  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and guides

  • Consolidate information in reports for metrics

  • Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE:

 

* CANDIDATES MUST BE LEGALLY AUTHORISED TO WORK IN CANADA*
 

  • 5 years of experience in information technology and the security domain

  • Advanced knowledge Endpoint security, IPS, WAF, Microsoft Security tools and  Email Security 

  • SecOps experience mandatory

  • available to work on shifts and provide 24/7 support

  • Experienced in risk assessment and bring a good knowledge of tools, technologies, and methods 

  • Good understanding of standards, regulations, and laws like NIST, GDPR, ISO 

  • Ability to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them 

  • fluent in English writing/speaking

 

An asset to have:

  • Advanced knowledge of Firewalls, Web Proxy, NAC; Knowledge of SOC activities; Understanding SIEM
