Procurement Manager, Analytics & Compliance

Position Summary
The Manager of Procurement Analytics and Compliance will be responsible for leading the development and execution of data-driven strategies to optimize procurement operations while ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in procurement analytics, supplier risk management, compliance oversight, and stakeholder collaboration.

 

Functions & Duties
•    Manage & perform data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier performance trends, and process inefficiencies. Collaborate with category managers to support procurement strategies with data insights and market analysis.   
•    Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track procurement performance, supplier performance, and KPIs. Lead the adoption of advanced analytics tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, SQL) to optimize procurement processes and improve operational efficiency.    
•    Engage with various internal departments to align efforts to address issues and promote the lowest possible cost and best service. These departments include but are not limited to, Procurement, Cost Control, Port Operations, Intermodal, Logistics, Trade, and Sales.    
•    Work closely with Marseille entities, Procurement, and others to promote compliance with global procedures. This includes providing guidance on the implementation of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) systems and QW11 standards.    
•    Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. Develop and implement compliance frameworks, including but not limited to supplier onboarding and documentation standards.     
•    Monitor third-party risk, particularly around anti-corruption, data privacy, and sustainability (BVD). Support internal audits and risk assessments related to procurement practices and supplier engagements    
•    Lead and mentor a team of analysts, setting goals and fostering growth. Support change management efforts related to process improvements or technology rollouts.    
•    MISCELLANEOUS RELATED DUTIES or PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED     

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities  
•    Superior research and analytic abilities 
•    Strong leadership and management skills
•    Strong understanding of terminology related to Terminal, Port and Intermodal Operations.
•    Detailed understanding of Terminal, Port and Intermodal Operations
•    Strong written language skills
•    Confident presentation of self for in-person and virtual meetings and external discussions
•    Excellent problem-solving skills
•    Advanced skills in Excel, knowledge in the use of Access and QLIK Sense.
•    Working Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook required. 
•    Require self-driven individuals who can work unsupervised for portions of a day or week. 
•    Must have the ability to shift quickly from topic to topic and prioritize own and team members' work based on deadlines and urgency levels.
•    Must be able to investigate and analyze issues to facilitate decisions for correct courses of action
