- You develop and coordinate the financial and accounting activities of Indian Ocean Cluster entities (Mauritius, Madagascar, Mayotte, Reunion, Seychelles). You manage the financial team of the Cluster and cooperate with the other departments (Operations, Customer Care, Sales etc.) and the financial teams in Regional Office, Head Office and Shared Service Center. You are the contact person of the financial institutions and tax bodies. Your transversal vision allows you to be considered as a Business Partner working closely with the General Manager of the Cluster.
- You supervise all the financial and accounting activities at Cluster level, including the relationship with the suppliers, the collection, the general ledger, the treasury, the cost control, the revenue control and the reporting. You are responsible for the accuracy and trustworthiness of the financial statements for the entities within your scope.
- Your functions equally are to elaborate and realise actions in order to optimise results. You make sure that your entities follow the operational model of the Group and improve processes in this respect.
- Elaborating and monitoring the internal control is one of your priorities.
- You prepare the annual budget as well as financial forecasts and analysis of the financial resources. You manage your profit and loss account by performing monthly variance analysis versus budget, year-over-year and actual results. You are responsible for your balance sheet and respective justifications of balances.
- You produce and monitor finance KPIs and report them to the different departments of the Group (CAN, RO, SSC or Cost Control). You take measures to rectify, correct and improve whenever possible and necessary.
- You are responsible for monitoring the tax matters and assure proper communication with tax departments in Regional Office and Head Office. You are equally the contact person for auditors and financial institutions.
- Being in role of Business Partner you carry out studies and analysis demanded by management.
- You support the General Manager on administrative and HR tasks.

- You have a solid background in accounting.
- You have an in-depth understanding of financial analysis methods and techniques as well as extensive expertise in IFRS, internal control principles and closing/reporting processes.
- Microsoft tools, including Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Skills & Other competencies:
- You speak English and French fluently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good ability to adapt to your environment and managerial skills are the essential skills for this mission.
- Shipping or logistics knowledge would be a strong plus.
