Your Role

We are looking for a strong Outside Sales for CMA CGM Portugal (Deep Sea), located in Porto Office.

 

Your Mission as an Outside Sales is to:

Gain, develop, and manage shipping trades to earn customers’ loyalty, to allow the lines to optimize the vessels’ loading capacity, giving the best contribution possible to the Group, developing and managing a customer portfolio in a specified geographic area in accordance with Agency Business Plan Management; Sell products and services related to it, while promoting Group image and values.

 

Your Responsibilities as an Outside Sales include:

  • Identify commercial market opportunities and prospect and follow up customers to develop and monitor the customer’s portfolio.
  • Sell the Group products and services and advise customers on specific transport modalities (Reefer, Out of Gauge…) in compliance with the pricing policy.
  • Receive, qualify in priority customers’ requests and process their requests.
  • Plan and conduct commercial visit according to the commercial action plan and produce visit report.
  • Ensure follow up on her/his customers portfolio payment and contribute to recover unpaid debt.
  • Participate in commercial events and develop a professional network within her/his commercial area.
  • Participate in establishing the Commercial actions plan and ensure the right customer's segmentation is selected in her/his area.
  • Relay quotation request from her/his customers to Inside Sales as needed.
  • Ensure update of commercial data in the information system.
