As part of its growth and development, CMA CGM Holland is looking for an Booking Officer to join its Booking team, in the Customer Care department.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of Booking Officer is to make bookings, confirm to the customer and ensure recording of customer information, according to Group business requirements and customer satisfaction corporate rules. Ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of the booking process leveraging data analytics to drive continuous improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.

 

More specifically,

  • Manage booking request within your scope
  • Perform mandatory checks (e.g., routing, quotation, allocation and equipment or haulage)
  • Booking Integration and confirmation 
  • Controls of Freight related info (quotation validity, Payer, POP)
  • Charges Input (Auto Freight+ manual) if FAI Desk export not deployed
  • Manage booking amendments / cancellation within your scope
  • All updates to Journey Legs as part of internal amendments up to status 20 for vessel delays, call omits, roll over, cut & run, late VGM
  • Collect and analyze booking data to identify trends, patterns and areas for improvement
  • Performance monitoring via the key performance indicators related to booking activities
  • Attent review meetings with GBS stakeholders
  • Follow up with internal stakeholders (such as CS, Sales, Trades, etc) to create booking process improvement plan

 

We are looking for individuals that have:

  • Experience within similar roles within Customer Service/Customer Care
  • Effective communication skills (Ability to articulate various business scenarios with customers, senior business leaders & middle management)
  • Demonstration of professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to manage stress through challenging situations.
