About the role within the Import - Global Accounts department

The Customer Service Officer Import pro-actively manages the releases and/or delivery of incoming cargo to final receivers. This person is capable of handling all queries from customers, terminals, customs and other CMA CGM departments. The Customer Service Officer Import is able to multitask within the various Import Customer Service teams.

 

What will your key responsibilities be?

  • Compliance with cargo release policy and arranging transport via the intermodal organization ILS.
  • Administrative activities concerning the processing, documentation and handling of all incoming cargo.
  • Maintaining contact with customers, hauliers, HO, stevedore, agents, customs and other departments.
  • Follow-up a wide range of long stays, queries and disputes.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with ability to plan and coordinate workflows.
  • Compliance with the Customer Care Charter.

 

 

 

To be successful within this role, you will need to

  • Have experience within the shipping industry.
  • Full compliance with CMA CGM policies and procedures.
  • Able to work within the team to ensure all vessels are completed within the set timeframe.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with ability to plan and coordinate workflows
  • Possess excellent communication skills, mastering both the Dutch and English language, experience within the industry is a must
