As part of its growth and development, CMA CGM Holland is looking for a Sales Support Officer to join its Sales Support team, in the Commercial department.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales Support Officer provides accurate and timely administrative support to Account and Sales Managers for a portfolio of customers. In addition, they act as a liaison between the customer, sales and various cross-functional departments on operational issues.

 

The key responsibilities of the Sales Support Officer are divided as such :

  • Provides administrative and sales support to the Account Manager and/or Sales Manager.
  • Support on daily issues and questions
  • Follow up on workflow and NVR list
  • Participation with weekly sales meetings
  • Daily use of NOVA and AQUA systems
  • Contribute to dispute resolution with pricers and back-offices
  • Provide assistance on root cause analysis
  • Handle all quotation requests from customers (and account managers)
  • Follow-up on quotations
  • Accurate filing of quotations, including FMC filings
  • Provide feedback to the Trade
  • Present business cases to HO and Trade
  • Promotion of group services and non-maritime products such as e-Commerce, CMACGM+, Intermodal and CEVA cross selling

 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory, French is a preference.
  • Knowledge of MS Office software, CRM software and relevant CMA-CGM systems.
  • Good communication skills (oral & written)
  • Customer focused and result driven
  • Building relationships & Team player
  • Decision quality and problem solving skills
  • Able to create presentations
  • Sufficient CMA-CGM product knowledge
  • Priority setting and time management
  • The ability to multitask and quickly change your focus
  • Adhere to company guidelines and procedures
