THE ROLE

 

Based in Roterdam, The Business Developer plays an important role to the Sales teams, internal departments and our customers. You are responsible for creation of performance reports, business analysis and market status. This to assist and advise the Sales department. By collecting market data/intelligence, coordinating customer surveys and product campaigns, new insights should be created to boost the sales performance. Also a clear marketing plan needs to be developed and maintained to promote the company to our customers. Besides this, the BD & Marketing Executive will be involved in all (new) processes and tools related to the sales department to make sure this is correctly implemented.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

 

  • Create overviews & perform analysis on Market, Trade and customers
  • Perform & maintain agency sales’ segmentation
  • Follow up of sales’ performance & ensures accuracy of compensation
  • Supports target setting and ensures quality of targets from lines
  • Create supporting tools for sales 
  • Create reports and perform quality checks in CRM powered by Salesforce
  • Analyze Market identification from CRM
  • Collection of market data/intelligence (benchmark), coordinating customer surveys, product campaigns
  • Develop marketing communications and sales support material (Sales tool kit)
  • Ensures pillars of Business Value and Sales Processes are followed by Sales Teams
  • Involved in all new projects/processes (like new pricing tool, new CRM deployment)
  • Cooperation in process improvement with other departments (Finance/CS/ILS/etc)
  • Local charges and Local revenue follow-up
  • Involvement in other projects / market opportunities (ie Port or RTM)

 


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

 

  • In accordance with the provisions of Article L122-1 of the French National Service Code, only candidates aged between 18 and 28 who are European nationals will be eligible for this VIE program
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a preference
  • Proficient in MS Excel, specifically in XLOOKUP, Pivot-table, basic formulas
  • Excellent Knowledge of CRM process and Salesforce
  • High degree of decision quality and problem-solving skills 
  • Customer focused and result driven 
  • Good communication skills (oral & written)
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
