Job Overview
The Area Logistics Officer accountable for coordinating empty stock evacuations on vessel as well as trucking mobilization as per LOG RO instructions. Coordinate Carriage Haulage with Customers and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of containers.
Coordinate and follow up on Reefers PTI as per Customers request. Manage with terminal and depots any special equipment requirement from Customers.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Ensure evacuation instructions are performed by port terminal according to RO instructions.
· Sent report of containers evacuated on vessel.
· Prepare weekly split of stock availability and containers planned to be trucked to complete evacuation figures.
· Send pre-advises to port terminals if needed.
· Ensure system tracking update for containers reported as evacuated.
· Stock replenishment oriented to fulfil Customers’ needs according to demand in each location.
· Prepare empty repo in LARA for all containers trucked during the week.
· Follow up any DPH correction requested by Customers.
· To send inland notification to Customers according to vessel report.
· Coordinate carriage haulage with Customers and Trucking suppliers.
· To send Release Order to depots for containers delivery.
· Respond all RFI from GBS Equipment Team.
· Follow up seal request from Customers.
· Assist to Customer Care Team with any equipment request or system update.
Qualifications
· Logistics supply Change Experience: minimum of two years.
· Good organization and planning skills. Good communication and leadership skills.
· Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
· Self-motivated, outgoing, and with a high degree of autonomy.
· Command of MS Office Applications.
· Customs brokerage knowledge.
