THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Trade Analyst to join our team. The Trade Analyst will be responsible for creating and analyzing reports, providing recommendations to drive business growth and efficiency.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
Area of responsibility 1: Data analysis, collection and management
- Collect data from databases, spreadsheets and external feeds.
- Analyze large datasets to find trends and insights.
- Integrate data into a centralized warehouse or mart.
- Clean and transform raw data for accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare data by removing duplicates, handling missing values and normalizing formats.
- Use statistical techniques to interpret data and generate insights.
- Perform regular validation and cleansing to ensure data accuracy.
Expected Results: Provide business decision-making recommendations.
Area of responsibility 2: Reporting and Performance Monitoring
- Creating reports, dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders.
- Using BI tools to build interactive visuals.
- Monitoring KPIs and metrics to track performance.
- Identifying improvement areas and making recommendations based on data analysis.
Expected Results: To conduct thorough analysis and deliver precise information to all pertinent stakeholders, ensuring appropriate performance monitoring and follow-up.
Area of responsibility 3: Tool and Technology Evaluation, Support and Continuous Improvement.
- Recommend BI tools to enhance data analysis.
- Stay updated on BI and data analytics trends.
- Improve data processes, analysis techniques, and reporting methods.
- Incorporate industry best practices into BI strategy.
- Support end-users in using BI tools and interpreting reports.
- Assist users in leveraging data for decision-making.
Expected Results: To ensure the effective utilization of all available tools and resources by decision-makers.
Area of Responsibility 4: Collaboration with Stakeholders
- Collaborating with business leaders, managers, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
- Converting business requirements into technical specifications for data analysis and reporting.
Expected Results: Improve communication and enhance daily activities.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
- In accordance with the provisions of Article L122-1 of the French National Service Code, only candidates aged between 18 and 28 who are European nationals will be eligible for this VIE program
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Foreign Trade and related;
- IT and System Requirements: Advance Microsoft Office + Excel;
- Language: English (fluent)
- High accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting;
- Knowledge of macroeconomics, market, and competition;
