Summary:
In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of Corporate Desk. As a trade executive, you will be responsible for overall commercial activities and projects of your assigned services to maximize revenue, liftings, and profitability.

Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to: 

  • Participate in yearly tender and/or RFQ process for GA, BCO customers
  • Understand customers’ requirements and collaborate with MEG/ISC/RES trade strategy 
  • Review account performance and liaise with sales to provide updates on the outlook and forecasts 
  • Conduct business and/or performance review with Key account management (KAM) team and customers to achieve nomination
  • Update customer list and customer space allocation (CSA) with stakeholders for cargo protection, priority setting on a timely manner
  • Provide solution on space and/or rate issue for customers
  • Manage off-tender inquiries, short-term quotation by engaging with KAM team and customers for negotiation
  • Coordinate CSA & rate filing with trades in line with awards
  • Conduct data analysis on customers’ portfolio on regular basis
  • Prepare report and presentation for customer and/or management meetings
  • Establish close relationship with customers to further develop customer base
  • Participate in long term pricing tool project (AQUA), an online platform for GA, BCO customers pricing inquiry

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma Holder or above, preferably in shipping, logistics management or business administration
  • 0 to 3 years of working experience in the maritime/shipping industry
  • Proficiency in MS Excel – Vlookup and Pivot Table is a must
