Business Process Intern

Role Overview

Within our pricing transformation department, you will be the Business Process Analyst responsible for supporting the different projects and ad hoc studies of our trades and countries in APAC. Under the responsibility of the Business Process Expert within the Line & Pricing Transformation Department, you will also participate to the definition and implementation of the change and deployment strategy for Pricing Transformation project. You will help identify needs and pain points and communicate them to the different teams. 

To excel in this role, you will need to have strong project management skills, communication skills with a creative & innovative mind and good understanding of Data  

 

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development 

  • Data Collection & Analysis:  

Gather, clean, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes. 

Reporting & Visualization:  

Create clear and effective reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and trends to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Collaboration & Problem Solving:  

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and operations, to identify business challenges and propose data-driven solutions. 

  • Project Management:  

Lead and work closely with project teams to ensure the development of bigger scale projects. 

  

Business Process 

  • Gather pricing practices amongst all business units (sales, pricers, ops) and all carriers. 
  • Propose recommendations in terms of tool, organization and process to Head Office team.  
  • Understand pricing innovation to propose and enhance relevant visuals and reporting. 

  

Change and Transformation 

  • Identify and manage regional stakeholders to raise awareness of need of change. 
  • Support pricing transformation for areas you are in charge of. 
  • Ensure change readiness and alignment on new standard processes. 
  • Tools usage & Hypercare 

   
What We're Looking For:

  • Degree preferably in Data Analytics, Business or related fields 
  • Good proficiency in MS Office Suite (specifically MS Excel) and digital tools 
  • Experience, preferably in Shipping industry or roles related to transformation and project management would be an advantage 
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment (with internal and external people) ensuring all key drivers of change are understood and integrated. 
  • Inclined to understand Business Transformation - vision, strategy, target operating model, business case, benefits and delivery
