Summary 
Reporting to the Senior Management, The Chief of Staff is a strategic business partner and a thought leader at CMA CGM, is a fantastic opportunity to get exposure to international and challenging projects across the company. The incumbent will be developing and driving key business initiatives, including innovation and process improvements projects across multiple business functions.

 

He/she constantly seeks opportunities to engage and establish corporate partnerships with external stakeholders to deliver value for the organization.

 

Responsibilities
•    Act as a strategic advisor - participate in strategic planning, and decision-making.
•    Coordinate across the organization to produce key reports and metrics for the CEO
•    Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities 
•    Assist in transformation activities by acting as a conduit between functional heads 
•    Assist in prioritization to ensure appropriate time allocation
•    Support in the tracking and monitoring of key projects
•    Supervise key studies for the APAC region
•    Coordinate economic update and institutional relationships
•    Plan and direct administrative and operational activities
•    Provide and facilitate communications support (meeting minutes, emails, reports, presentations)
•    Follow key scorecards and KPI for the organization
•    Develop and foster key relationships across the business in APAC and with the Head Office
 
Requirements
•    Master’s degree in international business/ SCM or an MBA
•    At least 5+ years of experience in consultancy or a management role 
•    Highly motivated, organized and a self starter willing to work with ambiguities
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills- understanding or interest in data analytics preferred
•    Ability to build strong relationships across the business with stakeholders at multiple levels
•    Good understanding of the APAC landscape within Supply chain, Shipping, logistics is a plus
•    Sensitivity, diplomacy and tact in dealing with confidential projects as required
