Procurement Officer, Indirect and Services

Summary

In this role, you will be working closely with APAC Indirect Procurement Manager to formulate and implement procurement strategies for indirect purchases across APAC region. You will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating contracts and services. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost-effective solutions. 

Your expertise in procurement processes, market trends and contract management will play a crucial role in optimizing our procurement activities. 

To excel in this role, you should be a strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities, capable of making sound decisions on the spot. Excellent negotiation skills and a strong understanding of procurement management are essential.

Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Lead support for regular business reviews with key suppliers and internal teams by preparing detailed reports, analyzing performance data, and coordinating follow-ups to enhance operations and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate with departments such as IT, Admin, Cost Control, and Agencies to ensure accurate, timely data collection for informed decision-making.
  • Conduct market intelligence gathering including benchmarking, historical pricing, and supplier profiling to inform effective negotiation strategies.
  • Maintain and update contracts and rate databases for indirect services and purchases in collaboration with the Procurement Manager.
  • Participate actively in RFQ analysis and cost benchmarking, and prepare comprehensive reports on negotiation progress and cost status.
  • Assist in category strategy development and execution, including supplier selection, sourcing approaches, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs regularly, analyze trends, and report findings to support continuous improvement of procurement programs.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in facility management, travel, HR, general services, or administration.
  • Strong understanding of dynamic APAC market environments.
  • Good knowledge of strategic sourcing, tendering, contract management, negotiation, and governance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
