Procurement Senior Officer, Indirect

Summary
In this role, you will be working closely with APAC Indirect Procurement Manager to formulate and implement procurement strategies for indirect purchases across APAC region. You will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating contracts and services. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost-effective solutions. 


Your expertise in procurement processes, market trends and contract management will play a crucial role in optimizing our procurement activities. 

 

To excel in this role, you should be a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and a deep understanding of procurement management.

 

Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Facilitate and manage procurement processes, tendering, negotiation, contract award and contract management.
  • Develop and improve administrative processes to drive constant improvements
  • Develop and drive category strategies that document end-to-end sourcing approaches, solutions development, supplier selection, cost performance, quality performance, etc. with clear implementation roadmaps.
  • Ability to interface independently with key stakeholders; serve as the procurement team’s expert who provides sound advice & recommendation to all user departments
  • Engage and conduct business reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders on a regular basis with the aim of enhancing operations, cost efficiency, meeting and/or exceeding all contractual set service levels/agreement.
  • Monitor and report against established and defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the progress and success of the procurement programs.
  • Provide advice on all procurement related issues to all levels of internal employees and discuss detailed contractual issues on a wide and varied portfolio to ensure that contractual terms and obligations are fully understood and that both financial and supply risks are minimized.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in indirect procurement i.e. facility management, Travel etc
  • Experience and competence to understand dynamic APAC market environments
  • Degree in Business Administration/ Supply Chain
  • Good knowledge of strategic sourcing, tendering process, contract management, contract negotiation and contract governance
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel & Powerpoint)
