Senior Executive, Agency Management Asia

Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Agency Network, you will support and administer Agency Network requirements in APAC region and manage agency matters pertaining to Agency Performance, expense validation, contract & agreements, budgeting exercise, agency network development and cost and productivity improvement.

 

We are looking for someone with strong project management skillset, great communication skill and ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.

 

Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Agency Network Administration/Coordination

  • Support and administer Agency Network requirements in APAC region: Reporting, ad-hoc enquiries
  • Coordinate with different stakeholders such as IT, Finance and Human Resource to ensure timeline and agenda is met on a timely manner for annual budget exercise
  • Correspond with agencies and Singapore Regional Office legal team on contracts, 3rd party agreement, leases.
  • Validate expenses related to IT, real estate and headcount etc., that are above agency GM limits by reviewing basis of request, assessing process accuracy and liaising with Head Office and the Head of Global Agency Network (APAC) for approvals.

 

Performance Monitoring

  • Regular review of APAC countries performances: identification of under-performing countries & action plan monitoring.
  • Monitor main KPIs across the regions, ensure APAC agencies are meeting targets and work with respective functional departments in Singapore Regional Office to resolve gaps in KPIs. 
  • Assess GM performance and capability and understand strengths and gaps of APAC agency teams.

 

Network information sharing

  • Organize and animate exchange sessions with agencies to share & receive value added information. 
  • Communicate with Head of GAN, HO on weekly/fortnightly basis to update and receive information on agency matters.


Agency Network Management

  • Conduct needs assessment on new agency set-up requirements and ensure deployment is done in a compliant manner. Review office openings/ closures, office lease decisions.

 

To excel in this role, you should possess strong problem solving skills and the ability to synthesize large amount of information.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and above
  • At least 5 years of industry experience in shipping industry, with international exposure with an MNC.  
  • Work experience in matrix environment in large international organizations. 
  • Knowledge of Commercial and/or Operations functions as well as agency processes.
  • Proficiency in O365 applications (Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
