Senior HR Business Partner

Summary

Reporting to the Head of HR (Singapore), you will play a key advisor on talent management, workforce planning, employee engagement, and change management to a group of employees in your assigned portfolio.  In addition, you will represent the HR function in cross-functional initiatives and external engagements, working closely with the Centre of Excellence (COEs) to deliver an exceptional employee experience. 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement in collaboration with the People Development team
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Lead change management efforts to support organizational transformation and growth
  • Collaborate on workforce planning, organizational design, and headcount management
  • Analyze HR data and deliver reports to support strategic decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies; support policy development and updates
  • Coach and mentor managers to build leadership capabilities and enhance team performance
  • Lead and develop a high-performing HRBP team; deputize for the Head of HR when required
  • Represent the company at industry events, universities, and on social media to promote employer branding

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 7–10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic HR generalist role
  • Proven experience in a global matrix organization with regional or international HR collaboration
  • In-depth knowledge of Singapore employment law and HR compliance practices
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams, manage multiple HR initiatives, and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence, professionalism, and commercial acumen
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and comfortable working with HR analytics and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
