CMA CGM is seeking a highly motivated, driven Regional Sales Manager for the Toronto office (Mississauga location).

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION


• Responsible for driving the Sales & Marketing activities within the assigned region (Ontario & Manitoba) and the overall productivity and budget for the team.


KEY  RESPONSIBILITIES


• Drives sales and marketing for the assigned region for both the inside and outside sales team.
• Guides, coaches, motivates and supports staff.
• Develops budgets and business plans in conjunction with the Commercial Director and senior Management team.
• Ensures that the assigned sales region meets or exceeds volume/revenue/contribution objectives as outlined in the budget.
• Assists staff with the development of their personal goals/budget.
• Prepares and analyzes KPIs, market studies and trends, new target accounts and services and submits proposals for change where required.
• Develops sales strategies with updated Market trends and competition knowledge to increase business and attain new customers.
• Discusses and actions sales strategies in line with Trade and Sales Management visions and objectives.
• Promotes improved partnerships and agreements when closing deals with customers: long term agreements / mutual commitments / match back programs / value added services.
• Sales visits and negotiations to secure accounts.
• Keeps staff fully updated and trained on product knowledge, value added services, e services, logistics services, etc.
• Works closely with customers, internal departments and overseas as partners in resolving issues and creating strong relationships
• Ensures the team strives for exceptional customer service.
• Coordinates real estate, IT or administration matters as they may arise for the office


QUALIFICATIONS

 

* ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE LEGALLY AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN CANADA


• Education: University Degree
• Experience: 5 to 10 years in the shipping industry, with experience in a Sales Management role
• Other:
       o Strong leadership skills

       o Strategic vision and innovative

       o strong analytical skills

       o Driven to achieve results

       o Excellent Communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills

       o Proven sales track record in Management role
       o Well versed in ALL Microsoft Windows based programs
