Logistics Officer

YOUR ROLE
As a Logistics Officer, you carry out your duties with attention to :
- Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and régulations
- Be in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
- Manage the logistics need of assigned vessels
- Manage third party logistics partners and ensures that their service level is maintained as per CMA Ships standard
- Control logistics cost and delivery lead time to achieve economical logistics solution
- Ensure delivery on time on board through logistic chain from the forwarder to the vessel
- Request for quotation for logistics spot rates and select best outcome
- Handle and process invoices from forwarders
- Update and properly track shipment status
- Follow up with all stakeholders on any shipment discrepancies
- Contribute towards data collection for tabulation into monthly logistics report
- Analyze logistics data and recommend on areas for improvement.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- License degree in supply chain
- At least 2 years' experience in supply chain experience
- Basic knowledge of main conveyance modes, warehousing, custom clearance and incoterms
- Good command of MS Office
- Good level in English
