Logistics Officer

YOUR ROLE

As a Logistics Officer, you carry out your duties with attention to :

• Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and régulations
• Be in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

• Manage the logistics need of assigned vessels
• Manage third party logistics partners and ensures that their service level is maintained as per CMA Ships standard
• Control logistics cost and delivery lead time to achieve economical logistics solution
• Ensure delivery on time on board through logistic chain from the forwarder to the vessel
• Request for quotation for logistics spot rates and select best outcome
• Handle and process invoices from forwarders
• Update and properly track shipment status
• Follow up with all stakeholders on any shipment discrepancies
• Contribute towards data collection for tabulation into monthly logistics report
• Analyze logistics data and recommend on areas for improvement.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• License degree in supply chain
• At least 2 years' experience in supply chain experience
• Basic knowledge of main conveyance modes, warehousing, custom clearance and incoterms
• Good command of MS Office
• Good level in English
