YOUR ROLE : 
  
Working in our Newbuilding entity, you are responsible of managing the construction projects of several vessels.

 


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?


You shall: 

  • Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations
  • Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies
  • Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis
  • Issue comment on drawings for approval in accordance with shipbuilding contract
  • Seek for assistance or experts’ opinions for specific drawings
  • Follow up: 
    • drawing approval and work progress for your project
    • extra and credit, specification deviations.
  • Provide Pre-delivery purchaser with necessary information to draw the list of initial stores and spare parts
  • Manage vessel’s delivery
  • Ensure specifications approval
  • Train New Building Superintendents. 

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
  

  • You are an engineer graduate with a specialisation in naval architecture
  • You have at least 1 year experience in Naval Architecture and/or Newbuilding projects, with technical knowledge of vessel design
  • Fluency in English and professional proficiency in French 
  • Good project management and analytical skills, flexible, results-oriented
  • Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
