Segment Purchaser (M/F)

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES : 


As a Segment Purchaser, you shall:

  • Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;
  • Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;
  • Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis;
  • Follow up of the contracts and the reporting of one or more product ranges necessary, to ensure the correct functioning of the vessels in the various CMA-CGM fleets;
  • Negotiate with suppliers in your segment;
  • Launch RFP and tenders and make the evaluation based on multi criteria;
  • Analyze:
    • your business sector using the agreed KPIs put in place with the Procurement Manager, Procurement Senior Manager;
    • the risks to supply and identify solutions in case of an unforeseen events;
    • requisitions and obtain the best quotations in terms of quality, price and delivery;
  • Monitor supplier performances and market position;
  • Conduct 1 or 2 supplier or partner audits per year)
  • Observe and report on technological, legal and competition activity and changes;
  • Collect and analyze feedback from fleets and Supply/Purchasing Executives on your segments;
  • Work in close collaboration with QSSE and CMA Ships departments and propose optimization on its segment or vessels supply
  • Apply the internal practices defined by the Group and the Procurement Department;
  • Apply the Procurement Policy and Company Directive on which you are PIC or contributor;
  • Optimize the logistic process of the segment - suppliers - partners concerned.

 

 

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS : 


Minimum qualifications

  • License degree in procurement

 

Experience

  • 2+ years relevant management & procurement experience or equivalent preferred
  • MS Office capabilities. Personal attributes
  • Analytical skills, ability to analyze, evaluate and propose policy;
  • Ability to cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines.
