Operational Performance & Development Manager

 

CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members.
CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient.

 

Summary
In this role, you will be reporting to the Managing Director. You will be responsible for leading improvement projects within CMA Ships through collaboration with various departments to identify area of improvement and develop plans for implementation and progress tracking. You will also be the main point of contact in Singapore office for implementation of new tools and process. You will ensure that investigation’s actions and feedbacks are implemented within the fleet.

 

We are looking for someone with strong background in continuous improvement, ideally lean six sigma green belt certified, excellent project management skill, proven experience in leading change management programs within business units and a confident and persuasive partner to the various business heads.
     
Your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with Head Office (HO) to align practices and standards across the organisation, aligning initiatives with business goals and objectives
  • Implementation of Operational Excellence
  • Conduct ISM/ISO audits and drive continuous improvement through feedback
  • Conduct data analytics to measure performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for process enhancements while ensuring efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with various departments across the organisation to drive a culture of continuous improvement, providing guidance, support and training to implement best practices
  • Provide support and training to employees to enhance the capabilities of employees in operational excellence and continuous improvement methodologies, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
  • Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and successful implementation of improvements
  • Implement change management projects to ensure successful adoption of new processes and methodologies within the organization
  • Collaborate with SSE department to foster safety culture within Singapore
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and innovative solutions

 

To excel in the role, you need to possess strong ability to analyse and interpret data to identify potential challenges and solutions.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management or Engineering
  • Experience in QHSE Management
  • ISO (9001/45001/14001) and OHSAS
  • Knowledge on data management and visualisation tool i.e. Power Query, Power Aps, PowerBI, Qliksense, Tableau
  • Preferably experience in Maritime or Oil & Gas
