YOUR ROLE
The Pricing & Quoting agent is the essential link between a company and its customers. He welcomes, listens, advises, secures contracts, handles complaints and recovers payments due from customers.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Study the needs of customers and their employees;
- Interact daily with customers and employees (sales, finance, documentation, operations & transit/customs) for all subjects related to pricing, contracts & work procedures;
- Manage requests for quotes for all modes of transport (air, sea & land);
- Provide support to sales representatives for greater responsiveness in producing quotes;
- Be a force for proposals in improving operational & commercial procedures
- Welcome, inform and advise customers;
- Develop a price base with all transport & logistics providers;
- Keep the contract base with all transport & logistics providers up to date;
- Develop strategies to boost sales in conjunction with the sales team;
- Ensure commercial follow-up and handle complaints to maintain a relationship of trust and build customer loyalty;
- Produce weekly activity reports to the line manager;
- Immediately inform his/her superior of any risky situation;
- Ensure his/her ongoing training and the development of his/her skills in line with the realities of the work environment;
- Strictly respect the process and hierarchical links;
- Any other services deemed necessary by management in relation to his/her skills.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Minimum 2 years of Experience
- Having good interpersonal skills is an essential quality;
- Being very well organized and rigorous in monitoring complex files;
- Knowing how to manage stress;
- Having great listening skills to effectively identify the client's needs;
- Being able to develop a coherent argument and knowing how to be persuasive;
- Having a good knowledge of the sector of activity (market, customers, competition) and of course the services;
- Having an excellent presentation and good elocution and being determined and ready to take on challenges.
