YOUR ROLE
The Sales Support Executive plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by supporting sales and account management activities. This includes conducting sales calls, identifying and qualifying leads, and arranging appointments with prospective customers. The role involves promoting CEVA’s services, servicing and developing existing accounts (including major accounts), and ensuring customer satisfaction by handling rate and shipment queries, liaising with overseas offices for optimal services, and managing customer complaints.
The Sales Support Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, preparing sales reports, implementing client SOPs, and providing timely updates on shipments. By collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, the role ensures seamless operations and contributes to the delivery of exceptional service across the supply chain.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Conduct sales calls to engage with clients, identify opportunities, and qualify sales leads to arrange appointments.
- Promote CEVA’s services, including import, export, and value-added solutions.
- Develop and maintain existing accounts, including major accounts allocated by the Branch Manager.
- Provide quotations to customers and international offices at profitable levels.
- Handle rate and shipment queries, liaising with overseas offices for optimal rates and services.
- Prepare sales reports, maintain CRM systems, and ensure accurate customer records, including client rates and contact details.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding pre-alerts, arrival dates, and delivery schedules.
- Implement and manage client-specific SOPs for goods delivery, project shipments, and other requirements as directed.
- Follow up on customer orders and maintain detailed order reports.
- Manage customer complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with operational and warehouse teams to meet client requirements.
- Conduct customer implementations and ensure smooth onboarding processes.
- Adhere to CEVA's QHSE Integrated Management System, policies, and procedures, actively supporting safety and environmental initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience managing freight forwarding customers, including complex accounts.
- Proven ability in account management, sales lead generation, and opportunity qualification within existing and prospective accounts.
- Experience liaising with international offices and managing cross-border logistics.
- Strong understanding of international supply chain processes and logistics operations.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales reporting, and preparation of customer SOPs.
- Knowledge of rate quoting, shipment handling, and service optimisation.
- Familiarity with metrics and reporting frameworks for key account performance.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional ability to prioritise, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines.
