YOUR ROLE
 

CEVA Logistics has an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Inventory Supervisor to join our team based at Berrinba QLD. You'll support operations and the inventory controller team with a high level of inventory data analysis, act as a escalation point for customers, and initiate process improvements.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
 

Specifically, you will:
 

  • Coach and develop the CEVA contract logistics (CL) inventory controller team
  • Work with the National Inventory Manager to provide visibility and compliance to CEVA CL inventory
  • Monitor all inventory processes, systems and reporting associated with the contracts under their control within CEVA inventory policies
  • Ensure customer KPI's and CEVA inventory KPI's are being met and reported
  • Standardisation of processes and systems across the site to ensure day-to-day inventory control operations are managed consistently, efficiently and effectively
  • Assist Inventory Controllers to plan for and implement new inventory into the operation (system and physical slotting) as well as manage the process of obsolete stock (physically and systematically)
  • Liaise with CEVA Operations on inventory issues, reporting and adjustments.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?   
 

Our ideal candidate has experience in inventory management in 3PL warehouse operations in any industry OR is ready to step-up to this level.


You should also have:
 

  • Experience in managing warehouse inventory systems or operations
  • Experience in planning, execution and management of cyclical and annual stock takes
  • Excellent skills in MS Office applications, and capable of learning new systems and working with technologies generally
  • Good written and verbal communication, time management and customer service skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, know when to seek advice, suggest solutions or escalate as required.
  • Customer service and customer relationship management orientation, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.


In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and national police check.
