WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE?

You are, as it were, customer service for our customers and service buyers, suppliers and various hubs! You have previously had contact with the Buyers of CMA (customer), their suppliers, various CEVA hubs, and warehouses all over the world. You take care of the waste in the supply chain and ensure that the (purchase) orders are sent to the various CMA ships. CMA has about 620 ships sailing all over the world, because these ships are only in the ports for a short time, the most important thing is that they are planned well, because if an order misses the boat, it must either be sent to the next port, or wait until the ship returns.

 

You mainly keep track of the status of the purchase orders with the various suppliers, you provide this information back to CMA, you are busy checking the stocks of various hubs and determine together with the customer which POs (orders) can be sent to which destination. An additional point is that speed plays a role, but also the consolidation of orders, in order to differentiate the freight costs.

 

Furthermore, you take on all kinds of administrative actions, such as providing the correct documentation, and maintaining contact via email and telephone. You book various transport orders from suppliers to different CEVA hubs. You check these and follow them up (Track & Trace). You notice opportunities for unexpected events and you solve any problems that may arise! Thanks to your contribution, shipments are prepared by the operation, collected and/or delivered.

 

WHY IS THIS ROLE SOMETHING FOR YOU?

Do you recognize yourself in the following characteristics?

  • A completed education in Supply Chain Management or Logistics;
  • 2 to 3 years of work experience in logistics, international trade, freight or transport (air, sea and multimodal);
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English;
  • Proficient command of Microsoft programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;

 

WHER ARE YOU GOING TO WORK?

Your workplace is at Schiphol-Rijk, where we have a campus of four warehouses! There you will be part of the Air Operations Team, consisting of 5 tot 10 colleagues. Together you ensure that the administration behind the cargo transports are managed and processed. You will do this in a driven and professional atmosphere, where there is plenty of room for fun and connection! You report to Key Account Manager and your working hours vary between [08:00 AM and 06:00 PM].

  • A gross monthly salary between € 2.732 and € 3.755 plus 8% holiday pay (classification depending on, among other things, your work experience and level of education);
  • A one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment;

  • 25 vacation days, 5 ADV days and the possibility to (sell) buy extra leave;
  • Profit sharing of max. 3% for positive company results;
  • Travel allowance from 10.0 km home-work distance;
