 SUMMARY

Integrated in our Distribution Center in Dallas DFW metroplex (Coppell), the Operations Manager manages the logistics operations of a new facility of 105,000sqf, 7 days a week, 2 shifts with around 60 staff.

This Distribution Center provides logistics services to the luxury industry. Services includes warehousing, order preparation (retail & e-commerce), VAS services & distribution.

The Operations Manager is an important role to ensure that our operations meet or exceed customer’s expectations, performance targets and continuous improvement road map.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

 

  • Support the ramp up of the new facility in coordination with the customer, hire employees and provide training, implement processes.
  • Ensure the required service, quality and efficiency levels are achieved
  • Ensure inventory accuracy is meeting contractual obligations, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Enforce QHSE policies to ensure safe work environment
  • Implement and develop strong relationship with clients, act as the main point of contact for our client to ensure order fulfillment and handle issue resolution
  • Plan and execute regular meetings with customers (Daily Ops review, Weekly Reviews & Monthly Business reviews)
  • Plan daily / weekly / monthly manpower to adapt resource to plan and monitor peak activity.
  • Coordinate with customer for prioritization when capacity issues arise
  • Participate and support the budget preparation and monthly billing to customer
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly KPI and customer’s reporting requests. Provide analysis and proposal for improvement
  • Ensure SOP compliance in operations
  • Drive continuous improvement within operations to improve operations performance, introduce best practice sharing to ensure optimized operational and highest service level achieved.
  • Support the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring of staff development, performance and progress.
  • Prepare reports for management and customers as may be required with recommendations to improve supply chain.
  • Supervise up to 10 Supervisors in different shifts/teams.
