HR Head IBERIA
Based in Alcobendas, Madrid.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As HRD, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. The position formulates reliable partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. You maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition.

The role supports 3 countries: Spain, Portugal, and Morocco; with around 3.000 CEVA employees and 1.000 additional hired by external agencies and outsourcing companies. Employees are split in 5 business areas: FVL, GR&R, CL, Air and Ocean in around 100 sites in all the geography. The main locations are Madrid, Vigo, Vitoria, Barcelona, Lisbon and Tanger.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- University Degree in HR, Legal, Business, or related field.
- 15+ years of HR leadership experience in a fast paced and demanding multi-national environment.
- Previous experiences in similar size matrixial organisations and complexity.
- Prior experience of working within a logistics or manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Experience in leading and developing a HR team.
- Experience in M&A process and culture change management.
- In depth knowledge of HR operations, extraordinary knowledge of labour law and strong experience with Spanish and Portuguese unions.
- Background in organisational/cultural change and transformation management in a dynamic and operational context with both blue and white collar employees.
- Proven track record of sitting on a senior leadership team.
- Trusted advisor and has the credibility to influence across all areas of the HR Agenda.
- Fluent in English (writing and speaking).
- Approachable and able to use good judgment with discretion in highly confidential business and employee situations.
- Strong personality and posture with humility and intelligence
- Create a bond of trust internally and externally.
- Strong personality in terms of courage and taste for challenge.
- Is delivery focused and can manage conflicting demands.
- Used to work with tight deadlines and report management.
