YOUR ROLE

For our campus in Roosendaal, we are looking for a Customer Service Employee Transport. As a Customer Service Employee you are in daily contact with our customer (a fashion retailer) throughout Europe. By mail and phone, you will receive requests questions and complaints about the shipment of orders. Because you work intensively cooperation and really help the customer further, you build up a strong customer relationship. Your challenge is to handle and resolve all incoming requests about the transport between the shops. You work together with your other colleagues from the Transport Planning department and have a lot of contact with your colleagues

from the Customer Service department and the Warehouse. You also work a lot together in various improvement projects. The working hours in this full-time position are flexible between 07:00 and 18:00. 

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will be part of the Transport Planning team at our campus in Roosendaal. This team consists of eight people and they are responsible for controlling all shipments between the shops in Europe. We work closely with the Customer Service team and the Warehouse team to handle shipments accurately. In this dynamic environment, flexibility is essential. Your proactive attitude will ensure you make a difference every day.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering emails and the phone;
  • Sorting out queries, problems and requests;
  • Evaluating service levels by asking for customer feedback;
  • You communicate closely with other departments to solve problems in the best possible way.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a customer-oriented colleague with strong social and communication skills. You have an analytical mind and a good numerical insight. Thanks to your hands-on mentality and positive attitude, you know how to hold your own in a dynamic environment. In addition, you are proficient in the Office package; Word and Excel hold no secrets for you.

 

Additionally, we are looking for the following knowledge and experience:

  • 0 to 3 years' work experience in a similar position, preferably in the logistics sector;
  • MBO education in the direction of Logistics;
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing;
  • Thorough experience with Microsoft Office;
  • You can easily switch between ad hoc work and research work, there are often several questions/tasks mixed up;
  • Experience with a warehouse management system is a plus.

Additionally, we offer:

  • A salary between € 2.520,06 and € 3.313,30 (depending on your work experience and education level), with the opportunity for growth within the pay scale;
  • A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
  • Employment conditions in accordance with our own CEVA collective labor agreement (Dutch: cao), including 25 vacation days, 5 ADV days, and an annual salary increase;
  • Profit sharing of up to 3% with positive business results;
  • Good pension scheme, travel allowance and 8% holiday pay;
