YOUR ROLE

As a Maintenance operator, you will, together with other specialists and service-driven employees, within and outside your team, take care of the logistics operation to serve our customers even better.

Together with the team, you ensure the proper functioning of the machines and installations within the warehouse in Heerlen where we work together with the customer Medtronic. This includes packaging machines, conveyors and other technical installations. You regularly consult with our suppliers, operations and engineers. You work together on a project basis on improvements and correct solutions to malfunctions. Where necessary, you come up with improvement proposals on your own initiative, which you discuss with your manager. To this end, you are aware of internal and external developments in your field.

You work in a team of 2 employees and have various contacts with site management, engineering, QHSE, Facility and the logistics operation. In this role you report to the team lead from your location in Heerlen.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

You ensure the further development of your team and ensure a good and pleasant working environment;

You are the point of contact for our internal and external customers and maintain contacts with suppliers;

You are responsible for the proper functioning of the machines and installations on the site. To do this, you create, maintain and implement the preventive maintenance schedule, taking into account the continuity of the production process;

You initiate and participate in various improvement projects and advise the Logistics Engineers in a timely manner on the purchase of new machines;

You contribute to the annual technical plan and preparatory work for modification, expansion and revision work.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You have experience and knowledge of technology and have experience in a (mechanized) logistics environment;

MBO/HBO working and thinking level,

You can switch quickly and communicate easily with all levels within our organization;

You are analytically strong, decisive and stress-resistant;

Fluent written and oral expression skills in both Dutch and English;

You are available 40 hours a week, work day shifts, but are willing to work outside office hours if the work requires this.

• A market-based salary between € 2,470 and € 3,184 depending on your work experience and education level;

• An annual contract with the prospect of permanent employment;
