YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Supervisor Officer at our Freight Bill Audit (FBA) department in Nijmegen. The Freight Bill Audit department is taking care of auditing carrier invoices and preparing data for the transport invoices to our Ground customers.

The FBA team currently exists of 9 people (head count), approximately 7 FTE, 2 of which we currently see as senior team members.

Working with various systems as well as various customers, we are in the middle of implementing a standard process that will add value to our business.

The various challenges we face trying to change our processes to one sustainable standard, as well as the day-to-day business requires a supervisor to keep track and guide the team to success.

  

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

You will be the supervisor of the FBA team, reporting to the FBA manager.

This includes day to day management of the team such as kick-offs, spreading the workload throughout the team as well as steering on back-ups during absence. You work closely with Carrier Management, Contract Management, Customer and Operational Departments.


 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • We are looking for someone with very good analytical skills
  • You have sufficient capacities to coordinate and/or lead a project
  • You are someone who is always looking for improvement and process optimization
  • Communicating with people of all disciplines and layers is second nature to you, you easily make contact and know how to obtain the right information from them
  • For solutions you think outside-the-box. You can and dare to take the extra step and act accordingly
  • You get along well with the various Microsoft programs, but your knowledge of Excel is above average. Working with TMS should not be that big of a challenge to you. 
  • Spoken Language is mainly English
