YOUR ROLE:

As a Business Unit Director at CEVA Logistics, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of our customer portfolio within the Ground & Rail division. You will ensure that both customer and business expectations are exceeded through efficiency, innovation, and leadership. You will have full responsibility for the operational, commercial, and budgetary performance of the business unit.

In addition, you will be the face of the company to the customer, ensuring seamless collaboration and working to further expand our service offering. Under your leadership, objectives related to safety, budgets, and customer satisfaction will not only be met but surpassed. You will work closely with the Managing Director and Senior Management to ensure contract renewals and maximize growth opportunities.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Lead the development and execution of the strategy within the Ground & Rail business unit with full P&L responsibility.
  • Identify and realize growth opportunities within the customer portfolio, ensuring contract retention and expansion.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and develop account plans for organic growth.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to leverage market insights and offer tailored solutions, ensuring competitive advantage and commercial appeal.
  • Oversee compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all operational sites.
  • Lead talent management initiatives to attract and retain the best people in the business.
  • Take responsibility for cost control, productivity, and customer management, with a focus on commercial opportunities and efficiency improvements.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • At least 10 years of experience in senior operational roles within large-scale distribution and warehousing.
  • Proven experience in multi-customer management and successful growth of new and existing customers.
  • Strong financial and commercial skills, including managing P&Ls and achieving operational targets.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to develop teams and build customer relationships.
  • Experience in change management and project management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-focused mindset.

  • A competitive salary between € 84,000 and € 144,000 gross per year, depending on your work experience and education level.
