Flight Capacity Analyst

Already equipped with a fleet of 6x long-haul aircraft (4x A330-200F and 2x B777F), CMA CGM AIR CARGO is on an ambitious mission to continue to grow its current fleet with the acquisition of new freighters.

CMA CGM AIR CARGO has already confirmed orders for 4x Airbus A350 freighters and will become the world’s first airline to launch and operate this state of the art cargo aircraft.

MISSION 
Working within the Revenue Management Team, you will be in charge of the physical Flight capacity optimization of the different flights of the CMA CGM Air Cargo network (including its potential partners’), while ensuring flight booking integrity and handover to Operations to maximize revenues.

 

RESPONSABILITIES
Physical Capacity optimization and load factor
•    Maximizes physical capacity (payload and volume) of the CCAC network flights;
•    Intervenes in capacity changes, configuration changes and operational constraints;
•    Suggests Gateway & multi-hub optimization;
•    Analyzes causes preventing optimal flight optimization and proposes solutions;
•    Liaises with relevant operational departments for capacity adjustments and forecasts.

 

Flight Preparation and escalations
•    Handles equipment supply requests (Cargo ULD control);
•    Handles extra capacity requests from customers and flights routing changes;
•    Repairs offloaded shipments in accordance with commercial priorities and within agreed SLA;
•    Determines the appropriate repair levels on flights (including overrides);
•    Handles booking exceptions;
•    Liaises with the market manager for any repair-related escalation.

 

Interfaces
The Flight Capacity Analyst holds a key role in the organization as the linking pin between the Revenue Management team and the Operations, requiring collaboration, communication and pro-activeness
•    Prepares and releases flights to Operations (Flight Planning & Manifesting);
•    Liaises with the Revenue Steering Analyst on tactical flights settings and capacity management;
•    Participates in transversal projects related to Flight Capacity Control process enhancements.

 

Flight performance Monitors and analyzes flight performance (e.g. load factors, realization of forecasted Flight profitability, release quality, available capacity, repair performance, Flown As Booked and Flown As Planned) and arbitrate between different constraints to sustain route performance and customer NPS.

 

Project Initiates and contributes to transversal projects related to process/tool improvements, in close collaboration with Revenue Steering and Operations.

 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

•    Baccalaureate +2;
•    Knowledge of cargo processes and operations is preferred;
•    Experience with data driven reporting tools and proficiency on data analytics;
•    Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
•    Proficiency in English language (both spoken and written) – Bulats B2 level or equivalent.
 

This position is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Working hours are based on the following: morning (8am to 16pm) or afternoon shift (11am to 19pm), WE (one per month) and public holidays included.
